MANIFESTO

Manifesto

RedBook 1975 is not a label
in the ordinary sense.

It is an editorial system designed to construct artistic memory with the precision of a catalogue and the emotional weight of something already inherited.

Some artists are discovered. Some are invented. Some are directed so precisely that invention stops looking synthetic and begins to feel inevitable. RedBook 1975 exists in that territory: between authorship and orchestration, between archive and fiction, between signal and memory.

We are not interested in novelty as a language. We are interested in permanence. In the authority of objects. In sleeves, credits, catalogue numbers, recovered photographs, studio fragments, press traces and recorded voices that seem to come from somewhere beyond the present tense.

RedBook 1975 treats digital creation as editorial practice. It does not hide construction; it disciplines it. It does not imitate the past as nostalgia; it reassembles it as evidence. Each release, artist page and visual fragment belongs to a wider system of coherence, where form, tone and material logic matter as much as the music itself.

The objective is not simply to release songs. The objective is to build belief.

In this universe, an artist can be human, partially synthetic or entirely directed through computational tools, as long as the final work carries intent, authorship and emotional consequence. Technology is not the subject. Direction is.

That is why RedBook 1975 privileges restraint over noise, design over clutter, and atmosphere over explanation. It prefers the calm authority of archival presentation to the anxiety of constant self-description. It prefers work that leaves residue.

This is not a platform built to chase immediacy. It is a house for constructed memory. A place where records, identities and visual traces are arranged with enough internal consistency to survive the first glance and deepen with the second.
